Viognier 2008
Luscious and delightful
This late maturing variety was the last to be harvested in the vineyard
in the third week of April. The grapes were hand picked
and lightly pressed to create an outstanding wine. Bright and clear with
light lemon green colour, this Viognier has a delicious spring flower
perfume as well as nectarine and spicy ginger on the nose. Flavours of
glace pineapple, apricot and almond and a generous mouth feel and piquant
back palate complete this wine. 13.5% alcohol.

Pinot Gris 2008
Vigorous and exhilarating
Hand harvested between the 11th and 13th of April and fermented in stainless
steel. In the glass the wine has a bright clarity with tints of lemon
and russet. Flavours show the varietal characteristics of pear, ginger
and honey suckle which shine over a mineral apple acidity and a spicy
base. The alcohol is nicely balanced, making this an easy drinking food
wine. Drink now with Asian cuisine or seafood. 14.5 % alcohol.
